Strong synergy with Android Queen Lecliss

wind typing is beneficial in the present Player versus Player (PVP) scenario due to the prevalence of many popular fire and water units.

Tanks are not very useful in most PVE modes

No offensive abilities without Android Queen Lecliss

Vulnerable to buff removal

Lecliss for PVE

Lecliss is without a doubt among the most durable characters in the game, boasting an impressive base health, unique equipment that enhances her HP, and two outfits that enhance her ability to withstand damage. The Killer Doll costume provides her with an 85% reduction in incoming damage when she taunts, making it possible to equip her with gear that boosts her defense or magic resistance to almost completely shield her from harm. Additionally, Lecliss can team up with the Android Queen outfit to gain a 160% energy shield and counterattack ability against multi-hit attack enemies. This not only strengthens her resilience but also enables her to deal significant damage to these types of adversaries.

Although Lecliss has a high degree of durability, it seems there aren’t many PVE scenarios that require a robust tank like her. In fact, when it comes to end-game content such as advanced fiend hunts, she isn’t typically utilized for tanking duties. Instead, teams are often constructed with an emphasis on offense. When facing PVE enemies with potent attacks, it’s usually sufficient to employ evaders (like WC.Rou) or rely on team defensive buffs provided by characters such as Refi and TI.Helena. Additionally, Morphea’s summoned units can be sacrificed for extra defense.

Lecliss could be beneficial in Tower of Salvation as he can effectively attract enemy attacks at a minimal expense. However, his utility in PVE (Player vs Environment) encounters is somewhat limited.

Lecliss for PVP

As an enthusiast, I’d like to highlight the exceptional PVP costume known as Killer Doll Lecliss. This versatile character excels whether deployed in offense or defense teams. The fact that she only costs 1 SP makes her a valuable addition to virtually any lineup, bringing significant influence to the table.

In simpler terms, the doll character named Lecliss is incredibly tough due to her ability to reduce incoming damage by 85%, combined with her high Defense and Magic Resistance. A properly equipped Lecliss can endure most attacks from your opponent, thus protecting the rest of your team. However, she has a weakness in that her buffs can be removed. Nevertheless, Lecliss performs well against Schera due to being a wind-type character. Her main weaknesses are characters like Justia, who can bypass Lecliss’s damage reduction with special abilities such as H.Lathel or BA.Teresse, potentially dealing a one-hit kill to Lecliss if they have been buffed.

In a combat team setup, Lecliss can serve as an affordable 1-point squad member to help keep your team active during the second turn. For instance, a common Player versus Player arrangement might consist of a 2-point unit that removes buffs (such as Schera or Eleaneer), a 2-point attacker (like Justia or Rubia), and Lecliss as the 1-point squad member.

In a defensive squad, Android Queen is often chosen as the initial character over Killer Doll because Android Queen’s counterattack capability can sometimes decide the game on its own. However, Killer Doll remains an effective second choice for such teams. Additionally, Killer Doll can also be utilized first in defense teams to compensate for any Special Points shortage.

To maximize Lecliss’s effectiveness in Player versus Player scenarios, it’s advisable to enhance Killer Doll to at least +3 full potential (for the SP reduction) and do the same for Android Queen as well. Without Android Queen, Lecliss lacks offensive capabilities, significantly limiting her usefulness.

Exclusive Gear

Essentially, Lecliss’s primary role is to stay alive. This task is made significantly easier thanks to her unique equipment, boosting her health by 54%. This unique gear proves particularly beneficial in intense Player vs Player matches at higher tiers.

Note additionally, the force of Android Queen’s retaliation relies on her maximum health points. Thus, acquiring her unique equipment not only grants you new gear but also subtly boosts her damage output.

Conclusion

Similar to many tank characters, Lecliss is predominantly utilized in Player versus Player (PVP) scenarios. Following the balance adjustment in December 2024, Lecliss has seen a substantial increase in strength due to her SP cost reduction from 3 SP to 1 SP. While she’s an excellent addition to a PVP team, she is not essential; many powerful PVP teams successfully function without Lecliss at all.

It’s advised to use her only if she’s currently part of your primary PvP teams and you wish to complete your ongoing investment. If she’s not already in your main roster, she might not be a top priority for many players.
